At Pfenex we are committed to celebrating successes and having fun along the way.  We value accountability, trust, integrity, ambition, and innovation.  With our Rewards and Recognition Program, we want to continue to foster an environment where employees are recognized, rewarded and celebrated!

Current Awards Programs

• Service Awards – Awarded on first year of employment and every 5 years
• Spot Award Pfenexian – Awarded to individuals and teams for special contributions
• Hero Award – Awarded to employee or teams who have gone over and beyond in contribution or accomplishments
• Values Award – Awarded to employee(s) who consistently model Pfenex Values
• Teammate Award – Awarded to employee(s) who consistently model strong commitment to teamwork. Examples of this include creating a fun work environment, encouraging others, fostering open and honest communication and demonstrating team commitment.

Nominations and Selection

For all award nominations please complete or upload the nomination form on the right side of the page.

• Pfenexian Award – Can be awarded to any individual at any time. Please fill out the nomination form  and present the Pfenexian Award certificate to the employee.
• Hero Award – Employees can recognize any individual or team  at any time using the form to the right. Selections will be made on an ongoing basis with supervisor approval.
• Values Award – Employees can recognize anyone at any time using the form to the right  detailing the value or values demonstrated by the nominated employee. Selections will be made bi-annually (aligned with mid-year and end-of-year reviews).
• Teammate Award – Employees recognize anyone at any time using the form to the right – providing at least 3 examples of desired teamwork behaviors. Selections will be made bi-annually
